| Satyrday, Januar 27th:
While Sir Bradley the Stalwart travels in North Gulhel, he meets a small bumpkin in a farm. He tells Sir Bradley that people believe that a ruinous fiend stalks the unwary in the plain of South-East Gulhel, 14 days ride away.
Sir Bradley the Stalwart pledges to rid the world of this pernicious fiend.
Sir Bradley seems to be rather scrawny for a knight, but he's full of enthusiasm, and his party seems sensible enough. Maybe 3rd times the charm?
| Sonday, Januar 28th:
Traveling south, Sir Bradley runs into a thug in a plain in Central Gulhel.
The thug's hardiness matches Sir Bradley, nevertheless Sir Bradley's skill is too great for the thug's swiftness, and Sir Bradley's maneuvering overcomes the thug. Sir Bradley the Stalwart has slain the thug!
It was a close one, but Sir Bradley managed to make a comeback when our entire group decided to throw ourselves into the melee. Hmm, this is exactly what went wrong with my last party... or was it? Maybe this teamwork will overcome their flaws.
| Moonsday, Januar 29th:
Journeying east, Sir Bradley the Stalwart encounters an aged bard in a town in East Gulhel.
Gregory the Blacksmith talks shop with him. The bard tells Gregory about being a bard.
Gregory made him a harp which would be easy for his aged fingers to pluck. A kind soul.
| Twosday, Januar 30th to Thorsday, Febuar 2nd:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart ventures to the south-east quickly through the plains of East Gulhel.
This has been a good adventure so far! Things are looking up!
| Friarday, Febuar 3rd:
Riding east, Sir Bradley encounters a bandit in a plain in East Gulhel.
Sir Bradley the Stalwart clashes with the bandit to a standstill--then The bandit's muscle is equal to Sir Bradley, but Sir Bradley's swiftness outdoes the bandit, moreover Sir Bradley's cunning is too great for the bandit's cleverness. Sir Bradley the Stalwart has slain the bandit!
In the melee, Marcus the Squire is slain!
Oh my GOD!!! Marcus! Marcus! He was only 14, too young to die! Why, why, why??? It was a noble death, Sir Bradley was on his last legs when Marcus jumped in front of him and took his dagger in the stomach, allowing Sir Bradley to duck around them both and backstab the bandit. Marcus... you will be sorely grieved.
| Satyrday, Febuar 4th to Thorsday, Febuar 9th:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart voyages to the south-east without incident, from a plain in East Gulhel to a plain in South-East Gulhel.
Today was spent in mourning for Marcus.
| Friarday, Febuar 10th:
Venturing south, Sir Bradley the Stalwart encounters a conniving peasant in a farm in South-East Gulhel.
Gregory the Blacksmith shoves her. The peasant shoves Gregory back.
Gregory was in a black mood, understandably. Even his good natured and even temper flared today.
| Satyrday, Febuar 11th:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart reaches the plain of South-East Gulhel and finds a fell lion.
The lion quickly overwhelms Sir Bradley. Sir Bradley the Stalwart has been grievously wounded by the lion!
In the melee, Raymond the Wise Man is injured, and Gregory the Blacksmith is injured!
We tried, we honestly tried. When Sir Bradley was being mauled, all of us jumped into the fray, not letting Marcus's sacrifice be in vain. All our surviving party memebers were greviously injured, except me. I know not why I was spared, but I am trying to use this gift to bring my friends to some needed help.
| Sonday, Febuar 12th:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart begins to recover from his wounds.
Thank goodness. Sir Bradley, at least, is showing improvement. I wish I could say the same for the others.
| Moonsday, Febuar 13th to Wedday, Febuar 15th:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart rests in a plain in South-East Gulhel.
Raymond the Wise Man dies of his injuries!
Raymond... you too. We have made camp here, as we realized I CANNOT get them to help on my own. I am doing my best to help them, but things look grim. Maybe, if Sir Bradley recovers enough to walk, I could help support Gregory to the nearest village?
| Thorsday, Febuar 16th:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart's injuries take a turn for the worse.
All hope is gone. There is no way I will carry both my friends to safety. And I won't abandon them either.
| Friarday, Febuar 17th:
Sir Bradley the Stalwart dies of his injuries!
After 1 day, Gregory the Blacksmith dies of his injuries.
Despite my best efforts, my friends both expired today. Rest in peace my friends. I will try to live up to your legacy. I have marked this site with a cairn, the resting place of the bravest, most noble, souls I know.
